i'm pretty sure you're not allowed to run a methanol mix in SCCA.

You might be right about the meth. It just says no oxygen and nitrogen additives, but it also says just pump gas ingredients. I'll keep it disconnected till after next week just to be safe.

Alright been reading the rules and classifications all over different forums have an idea of which one im in but figured i would ask just to make sure..... 2010 mazdaspeed3 lowering springs, rear swaybar, motor mounts, cut out a resonator and cat, intake, turbo inlet pipe, larger intercooler, access port remapped ecu, shift kit hopefully this weekend i will finish plumbing the meth spray any thought?? bronx, i see you on the GCR forum as well. raced there a couple times with my old rx-8 few yrs back. this months races with GCR are invite only at brookley correct?? Not sure what happened but a post I meant to put on another board came up here... but now I will get on topic, my computer and internet have been acting goofy last night and today Yes I am on the GCR forum, I am actually a GCR member that comes up to Wiregrass to run as well. This month is a Brookley invite event. As for your car, you cannot run the meth injection at autox, but otherwise you should be in a SP class... I believe the speed3 is in DSP Hope to see you out there soon!

15.10 ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN G. Intake water injection systems are allowed.
If you only inject H2O the injection system will be DSP legal. I think the rest of your mods are DSP legal also.

I'm planning on coming out to the next event. Had some confusion of what class I was supposed to be in at another location, so where should I be?
2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8
Mods: Lowering springs Cat-back exhaust CAI intake Lightweight pulley
(I do not have one now, but will a Reflash change my class in the future?)
Thanks!

Thanks! either STX or ESP. if you wheels are 9 inches wide or under and tires are 265's or smaller, it fits STX. For a better PAX and what your car is actually prepped for, i'd pick STX. a reflash should be fine for either. just don't turn off emissions systems for STX

Assuming there is nothing not mentioned here that would change this:
If your wheels are 9in wide or narrower AND your tires are no wider than 265, you are in STX,
if your wheels are wider than 9 inches OR your tires are greater than 265 and no wider than 285, you are in STU
The reflash will not affect classing so long as you do not mess with the emissions stuff (i.e. no disabling the CEL or anything like that)
I unfortunately will not be out again this month, my training schedule is in the middle of a more intense block so i need my weekends to study . but when things quiet back down I should be out again.

We were at the same tent from the AL Region event! Look forward to coming and giving this place a try.

If I ad a factory LSD to a car that it was an option for in that same year and model then it should be stock class legal? Only if it was an option for not just that model, but that exact trim level etc... basically It would have had to be possible for the car to roll off the assembly line in the EXACT configuration as yours except with an LSD. If for example your integra is a RS, and the LSD was only an option on the GS (just an example, I have no idea what the availability was), then you cannot. or if you have, for example, manual windows and the LSD only came in cars with power windows, then again, not stock. I have a similar question, but for ST. I remember when Street Touring was started, the rule was that cars could compete if they came from the factory viscous-type limited-slip differential. (The '91 Sentra SE-R was one specific example, and I think the later Spec-V has also has a viscous LSD.) I haven't kept up with the rules too well the last few years, so... The 240SX SE was available with a viscous LSD. If I understand correctly, ABS and LSD came together. My 240SX SE (1992) didn't have that option, but I have a factory viscous coupling in a box, and I think I can install it. If I put the factory viscous limited-slip in my car that didn't come with it, is it legal for ST?

'92 240sx, sr20det, t28 turbo off of the later model engine, arp head studs, metal headgasket, rocker arm stops, full 3 inch exhaust, coilovers, camber plates, z32 front brakes, hicas elimination kit, and a high mount intercooler. Factory viscous limited slip. Waiting to attend my first event, and I am completely lost unfortunately.
