Thanks for posting the times. Will Cooper's tires were gone. I heard them shredding during one of my runs, haha. Hopefully next month will be cooler. EDIT: Here is a gps ,ap of the track that Chris P sent me. He drove the blue Z06. Hey this is Chris aka "Krispy" I was using REV data logger on my iphone. Here's a link The spots without acceleration or breaking info was where my phone lost GPS reception, not where I was coasting as some of my friends have thought. REV Charts this info in program, however I exported the data as an excel file and graphed and formatted it. I have a few more runs that I could compare but don't have the time at the moment. Perhaps I will run again next month... Pretty neat. Was he using some sort of data acquisition?

jason the white marks on your tires are fine it's just where the tires were smoking and the smoke was following the tread pattern of the tire to escape....that's why all the white marks are coming from the tread lines, that happened to me when I spun out
I guess I got the wrong info and i'm sorry for calling you out I was just annoyed with what they were saying and I guess I was just hyped up cuz they all talk smack about my car cuz i'm the only domestic of the shop so there always trying to get me to race people to find a car that will beat me and the latest one was saying that a 2010 camaro was faster then me untill going down 231 we ran into one before hwy 20 and I put him out half a car and still beat him with my car packed down so I should of realized it and it was probably the fc guy trying his crap again.

The white marks are fine. They are due to heat. I hope to see everyone out again. I need to adjust the height and caster angle before next month. That should help a little with breaking and cornering. I also realized that I need an air tank, haha. Did anyone notice a anodized blue jack puck with "C5" milled on the top of it left out there? I seem to have misplaced it.

It was an SS camaro...my car isn't a slouch but it's not super fast either I just know the limits of me in my car. That's why the fc guy gets annoyed cuz every decent car that comes in the shop everyone is talking crap, and if i say yeah it will beat me they drop it if i say no I can beat it then i'm a douche bag and think my car is golden. If I get the chance to race it and then win then I make sure they know it and I do get alittle arrogant.
I was big into drag racing for years and was at the track just about every weekend and probably have over 500+ passes on the local 1/8th mile and a couple different 1/4 miles. I can beat 90% of stock cars but modern cars are getting quick so small add ons i'll lose. My car has more suspention mods then anything and I kinda got bored with drag racing cuz there were times I'd go to the track and my friends would ask me to drive their cars to see if I could get a better time then them and I wouldn't get to drive mine....I just wanted more So I figured I'd try corners and I haven't been back to the drag strip since
More then like what it was is the fc watched me beat the ss on the way up there which is the latest car me and him argued about cuz he thought it would beat me by like 8 cars and he thought I was being arrogant cuz I said I would probably win by 1 maybe 2 cars then he saw your car and tried to get us going just so he can rub it in if I lost. I've noticed they will non stop try to throw cars at me cuz they have nothing to lose, If I win the race were back to square one if I lose then they can rub it in.

it would be close i think at the track i'd have you but on the streets you'd win just because it looks like you have more top end but of course fwd no matter how much power you have your gonna be slow to start cuz of traction

Post some links to videos! Here's one of my Hoosier runs: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nGOF_1SGhYFYI, my best time on the 255x4 Kumho XSs was 67.1. I switched to the A6 scrubs at lunch and my 1st run on them was a 65.4! I almost didn't switch them, thinking they wouldn't be that much better than the fresh XSs.
