Nate's fastest (49.7): www.youtube.com/user/Z06phile#p/a/u/2/cFZ-LTYE51oPretty much flawless. My fastest (50.9): www.youtube.com/user/Z06phile#p/a/u/1/bpjWuP9nZP4It's easy to see where he was 1.2 secs faster than me. Here's a quick analysis showing where I think he shaved the most time: ----Salom---- Nate--- more speed going in and on the limiter through the last few cones, quick jab on the brakes to get the car to rotate and late apexing to carry more speed through the next section. Me--- slower in and just nicking the limiter on the next to last cone, braking hard and taking the safer, early apex route. ----The elbow (2nd hard left after the slalom) Nate--- higher entry speed had the engine in the band using 2nd gear. Me---- slower in and downshifting had me fighting wheelspin coming out. K24 EG hatch fun run (thanks, Josh!): www.youtube.com/user/Z06phile#p/a/u/0/dofH6UJX330Ran a 50.2, I think. Maybe Josh can confirm since my vision can't be trusted. The car had way more grip and traction than I was expecting and plenty o' power!

This was a 50.2 run I coned a 49.5 I removed my rear swaybar for this event and didn't like it. It gripped better to start with but was harder to control oversteer. I will probably get an adjustable whiteline to match the front. and eventualy stickier tires.

First run is my fastest clean run, which was the FTD and top PAX run... the other is even faster but had a cone.

Your car looks decently balanced in the video, and the only oversteer I saw was driver induced and not car induced (caused by throttle lift mid corner)

I lifted throttle and tapped break to shift wieght andreduce understeer. I don't have the power to come out of corners without keeping my rpm up (wheelspin). Trick I learned with 600cc sportbikes. My issue is its harder to control and more drastic when it breaksaway.

AH/ ok, That type of oversteer is mostly a shock and alignment issue. if you shocks have separate bump and rebound adjustment I would try stiffening front bump... if not then you gotta figure out ig the oversteer is going into or coming out of corners (if going in, decrease rear rebound. If coming out, decrease front rebound) another (and probably the best) option is to get more rear toe in at your next alignment.

My springs are too stiff. 8k front and 6ka rear. Plan on groping down atleast one k at each end but now gonna wait till after swap. Probably still end up with adjustable whiteline rear swaybars.

I HIGHLY doubt that the springs are too stiff. Most serious autox setup run much stiffer than that... I have one of the softest of the serious STR setups adn I run 12.5k front (700lb/in) and 10.7k rear (600lb/in)... Some of the STR guys are running 16-18K... and I know that most of the ST class civics are running 9-12k (or more) springs too. Most serious SP and SM setups are running 16+k springs...
If its ride quality you are concerned with, then its your shocks not the srpings that are the problem, because those spring rates should not cause issues with ride quality given proper shocks.

Test have shown Megan springs double in rate when compressed 1".

THen those springs blow... qulity springs should maintain a constant rate regardless of how compressed they are. I would stick to Eibach racing springs, Hyperco, and Swift for springs. they are far superior. I would also ditch the megan shocks if you can, they are very low quality and have crappy valving.
For inexpensive suspension i would go with Koni Yellows with coilover sleeves, high quality shocks with decent valving. Then I would go with springs from one of the aforementioned brands. Unfortunately Koni Yellows with the original valving can only handle about 500#'s of spring tops. Ground-control uses Koni yellows and eibach springs. check them out, and I recommend 500# front 400# rear springs.

Gonna wait till after ls1 swap before I do more suspension work. Autox is not the only thing my car does. And tired of getting beat by stock Mustang, Zs and everything else.

Thats understandable!... best of luck, and please feel free to hit me up to discuss suspension once you get to it! thats where most of my time, money and effort has gone into on my car.
