It's just a Fit? If you're the same guy that was driving a Fit two years ago, in Street Touring, you beat my 1992 240SX, and inspired me to get coil-overs. That's what I'm bringing to the event this coming Sunday, if I can fix my issue with the 5500rpm rev limit.
1992 Nissan (RS13) 240SX hatchback: DC Sports header Muffler shop exhaust Injen Technology intake Tires are Yokohama AVS ES100 Rear swaybar from a junkyard (I think it's Suspension Techniques) A'PEXi carbon fiber rear strut brace Latest mod: HKS Hipermax III coil-over shock suspension kit (Super stiff. Might need softer springs for optimum traction.) Dyno test showed 151hp at the wheels. Peak power is at 5600rpm. Redline is at 6900rpm. One day, it decided the rev limit would now be 5500rpm. This might be a problem with a bad sensor on the transmission.
I haven't autocrossed my Nissans for a while, and I'm better known for my Mitsubishi.
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR, STU 24: ATP "divorced and transformable" downpipe, that leaks from the "transformable" part Exhaust from Top Gun Muffler in Fort Walton Beach ECU tuned by some clowns in Fayetteville, who were baffled by my requirements to keep the stock boost tables. Whiteline adjustable rear swaybar Tires have Treadwear 300, are nearly bald, and felt rock hard at the last event.
This car will take a break from autocross, as I'm unemployed and the tire costs for it are getting ridiculous.
Edit: Looks like I'm racing the Evo Sunday... Edit #2: On the one hand: I fixed my transmission sensor problem! On the other hand: Damn. Nissan electronics are so bad, I just fixed a problem by unplugging sh!t.

That Boss 302 sounded NICE. I pointed to it and told someone, "I want to make my 85-cubic-inch Datsun sound like that!" ;D

Wish someone would have shot some video of the day for us. I had the duel V tec's working over time. had it up close to redline(7400) a few times and she starts screaming above 6000rpms.

They really said you couldn't run in Street Touring with a header? I looked up the Street Touring rules: Section 14, Street Touring Paragraph 14.10, Engine and Drivetrain Section D: Exhaust manifolds and headers (including downpipes) may be replaced with alternate units. Mounting brackets/hardware which serve no other purpose are considered part of the exhaust components. From what you listed here, the only thing to keep you out of Street Touring is the R-compound tires. Street Touring requires a treadwear rating of 140 or more.

That's cool!! Yet I have grown to love my r-comps soooo..... Looks like I'll just have to shoot for faster times to make up for pax difference Thanx for the info though, maybe next tires will be street worthy, that street tire class looks pretty competitive.
