Originally a 1.6 8 valve with 78 horsepower and a 4 speed trans
1980 scirocco S cis-e 16v 2.0 FF 5 speed short ratio long 5th trans
283,000 miles
11:1 compression
And about 195-215 psi per cylinder
93 only and sometimes 98

I've raced against wrx Sti, corvettes, bmw, audi, srt4, and gti turbos
It's all about how you connect, how you shift & power to weight ratio
And ive had some fun results
It's a fire breathin clutch eatin 3 wheel turner
and will go 150+ (i know because im insane)
and redlines at 12,000
One of the most underestimated cars ever because nobody remembers it being a champion,
And was designed by guigaro of Porsche before the celica gt/delorean/944/Audi coupe/etc (he also designed these)
Still Gathering parts for a turbo setup to be slapped on
I took my trans off last week stripped it clean,waiting on new hard parts and seals for a proper reliable rebuild
Enough talking I love my ride
I've been wire wheeling it and sanding, priming, it's currently primer black 2/3
Will be painting soon

Car was wrecked by a drunk driver and I saved it from burning then bought it
(improper swap by p/o motor mounts blew, 4 ft rip in unibody metal when he crashed and distributor smashed master cylinder=100% spark white hot exhaust melting undercoat, and me the madman with a fire extinguisher stolen from a nearby 24 hour fitness)
