I gotta figure out what rattles on that bumper, other than that i love the sense of speed that low to the ground.

Are you still thinking Porsche? I think a logical upgrade would be another miata. Get an 07' sport and convert it to MSR or find one already done. Its still in CS, but incredibly fast.

let me know if you kill the battery next month i have a 12v charger. its for a cell phone with mini usb. As far as Porsche thats a matter of a life long dream/ however i have shit-canned the boxster plan..... who the hell wants a boxster. I will hold out till I can afford a 911. in the meantime an NC miata would be nice. they are not that much more expensive than an NB miata with low miles. 3 or 4 grand is not alot if you look at the cars.

I didn't really see anyone taking pics this time. I was going to bring the dslr but was running kinda late and forgot. Next month I should have it out there and I will take a ton of pics. Two quick questions. What time does setup start? I want to help out and take a few pics. How does everyone like their gopro, I am really interested in buying one?

One thing I am worried about is camera falling off the car during a run. What type of mounting system is used on the gopro?

permanent affixed mounts or suction cup. suction cup is good but it has to be on clean relatively flat surface. like i put it on a pinstripe and that was enough for it to fall off after 5 minutes of just setting in the paddock. if you are careful it will stay no problem. the camera is solid state and tough as nails itself. the clear case is not expensive at all either and thats what you would be replacing.
