Cheap to a good home: Wangan-style spoiler, made out of fiberglass, for a 240SX hatchback. I bought it several years ago, thinking I would put it on my 240SX. This spoiler is similar to the "whale tail" spoilers they used to put on Datsun 240ZX and Mazda RX-7 race cars. It appeared on the "SilEighty" in Gran Turismo, and Gran Turismo 2. I thought the blue SilEighty was the hotness. Later, I realized Gran Turismo had borrowed that SilEighty from the Initial D cartoon. Once the spoiler was delivered, it was bigger than I had imagined. The back lip comes up almost vertical, and I imagine it creates quite a bit of downforce at speed. It looks like it would do so at the expense of gas mileage. I realize a lot of 240SX owners don't care about gas mileage... I also decided I wanted a more subtle look for my car, so I never had this spoiler installed.
^ Here's a photo of it propped up on my car. (My car was in the middle of a repair, after I hit an elk on NM Route 130) I've moved twice with this spoiler, and want to find it another home before I move a third time. I paid about $265 for this thing. I'm not asking that much, partly because it was delivered with a crack across its' rear surface. I assume any body shop that can install it won't have any trouble fixing the crack. If you're interested, make me an offer. You can pick it up at my place in Niceville, or I can meet you halfway.

For all who are dying to know, as of 2014 I finally gave away this spoiler to a guy in NC.
I also gave him my old 240SX seats, because I didn't want to move with them. And I gave him a TV.
