Nice run Jesse. You should look into getting yourself a GoPro type camera. The wide angle lens really helps you see where the car is.

I didnt know you could cut through the cones at the end. I was just punishing the brakes.

Technically, pointer cones have no official impact on the course. They are visual aids only. You can hit as many of them as you like, or drive around them if you don't want to buff out the marks, and you will incur no 2-second penalty or DNF. You can also drive "off course" legally, as long as you enter the course where you left it. This can also be a huge advantage after the timing lights, if gaps happen to be in just the right place(s).
