1. Welcome: Introduce key event officials and welcome drivers to the event. Safety Stewards

3. Everyone must sign event insurance waiver, whether spectator or participant. Be a steward of your guests and inform them of the rules.
4. Army Site. Police your trash including cigarette butts, etc. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on site. Be a steward of your guests and inform them of the rules.
5. This is a Car CONTROL event, Walking speed everywhere except on course
- No burn outs, no drifting
- If you blow your run or spin, both feet in, come to a controlled stop, then proceed you have already blown your run , no need to make matters worse by speeding back into the course or chasing the car farther off course.
6. Every car must have
- Car Class and number on both sides of the car
- Must have passed tech
- No loose items in the car (CD's, books, etc.)
7. Every driver and passenger must wear a helmet and seat belt
- Hands must be kept inside the car at all times
- No hand held objects in car, -cameras , cell phones etc
- No loose items in car either
8. On course - If a red flag is displayed, bring the car quickly to a controlled stop and wait for
workers to tell you to proceed
- Do not wrap the flag around the stick.
- If you are working and see an unsafe situation, don’t hesitate to throw the red flag and radio RED FLAG ! RED FLAG! better safe than sorry.
- if you are working and see a red flag immediately display your red flag
9. Cone rules, If it is still standing and touching any part of the box it is not a penalty , just reset . If it is knocked down or out of the box, radio in +1 and the car class and number. Pointer cones are no penalty, just reset.
- outside of gates is called in as DNF
- Any cone moved outside of its box or turned over is a cone penalty of 2 seconds. Call it in via radio as 1 cone on STR 9. Car color and type may substitute if class is not visible.
- Any cone still touching the box is not a penalty as long as the cone is still standing.
- If there is suspicion of a cone being touched at all, corner worker should go out and inspect cone to be sure it is placed correctly inside its box.
- Above all else, be safe on course. No cone is worth your safety.
10. Run Groups. 2/3? Ride-Alongs
11. We are a volunteer organization and everyone must work. Please show up before your heat is scheduled to start.
- no sitting during work assignments , no cell phones or cameras at worker stations.
- never take your eyes off the oncoming cars
Failure to follow any of these rules could result in dismissal from the event and future events.
