Hi folks, I'm new to the region, been down here about 7 months now and need some help. I bought an ITA/7 RX. It was rough but cheap. I was having all kinds of trouble getting it to run right and decided to gut it and re-wire for just the basic functions. Well, it's been sitting for 3 months now and I'd like to get it going. I need to pull the rest of the old wiring and dash out. I then want to move the battery inside and wire the ignition, fuel pump, wipers, and lights. I have longacre switches to handle what I need. I need to get a tach and some pressure temp gauges. I was wondering if anyone here has done this before and would be willing to give me some advice? It would be great if you could pop over and help me plan what I need to do next. I think I've bitten off a bit more than I can chew. All and any help appreciated. Visitors are always offered beer, and not cheap stuff ! Thanks, Jeff

What year RX-7 is it? I know a few people that come out have them. I don't know if they are signed up on here though.

I thought those magic triangles ran on pixe dust and leprechaun farts??? What is with this needing electricity? ;D
First welcome to the region. Second this isn't the busiest board on the interweb (it is pretty new too). So I encourage you to keep looking for sources for help. Third, did you tell us where the free beer is at???

hahaha, I wish I could help, but I don't have that type of experience under my belt.

Hi, I do not have any specific experience in that area but I would be more than willing to help.
I am only 17 but I have done some very extensive audio work and I am comfortable with dissasembling and reassembling car interiors as well as mechanical components.
I assume you have the tools you need but if not, I have all the tools you would need to do an electrical job.
If my age doesn't scare you off then let me know and I would love to give you a hand.
