It looks like the contenders are the Farmtech, T-link, and the Race America Setup. I know we as a region have the chance to test out a T-link setup. Let's get the chit-chat going on wireless or an addition to our current setup.

Manual WebsiteFarmtek Quote. Talked to Micheal from Farmtek. it WILL work with our version of AXWARE and it WILL work with our current scoreboard. the quote has 2 directional antenna's just incase we want to transmit over 300 Ft. with the antennas it has a 900 ft range from the base to the start and finish, so a long way considering our site is 1200 ft long, and its 900 ft from the tent to the fuel rail. quote also has a backup set of beams, the cables from the timer to the scoreboard and the timer to the computer, and 4 beam tripods (2 more are $50 more) Pros: -All battery setup (9v and AA's) so no lost time if the generator dies -Used by many large regions, the SCCA National Event guys, and seems to be the go-to setup -works with current scoreboard and Axware -cheaper to purchase Cons: -range not as far as T-link (i don't think this is a problem) -we will have an entire RA setup sitting around not used -jeff will have to learn new things -the axware dude will cuss us if we tell him we are running Farmtek (don't tell him we are using Farmtek)

Thanks for making the call. As long as we're considering them, it'd be nice to see the same info for the other two.
