Hey guys, My name is Micah and I've never done autocross. I have a 1985 Monte Carlo SS, that, beside a paint job, is stock. I don't want to put a roll cage in her, for she is my daily driver. Basically, I have a couple questions...
#1: Do I need a roll cage to compete #2: Do I need a special harness system #3: What class would I fit in #4: Is there anything I should know about before getting into this
That wraps it up. Sorry if those questions are super noob, but, I kinda am right now. lol
Thanks guys!

I can look into classing for you this afternoon when I'm not on my phone, I'd guess FS or HS maybe. What you need to know is have fun and be safe. Make sure your battery is tied down, good tires and all lugs torqued down. Get to your first event early and talk to some people, observe and learn, ride with a few other people if you have time in between runs to help yourself out

Great! Thanks cjwsrt6. I think I might be able to go to the event on the 14th, I won't be participating, just watching and learning. :-)
