Hello to my fellow members. My name is Chuck and I live in Panama City Beach, Fl.. I was a member of the Wiregrass Region back in the 80's yes.... the 80's and I've realized that I've missed having a sports car to autocross. I've always been passionate about auto racing and continued to follow most professional racing series especially F1, ALMS, Trans Am.
Back in the day I drove a 1973 Porsche 911S in A/S. Unfortunately that car is long gone but I hope to acquire a sports car in the near future. As for now I plan to volunteer at our events as often as possible and help out wherever I can.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Chuck,
It's Jose in the black mustang. Thanks for coming and helping with start! I hope you had fun, and come back again. If you ever have questions on any cars, feel free to ask and we can give you our thoughts on how it would fit as an autocross car.
Welcome back to the club!
Jose

Jose,
Hey it's Chuck and I should thank you for your help and patience. I already feel as though I can ask questions and I will have lots of them. I imagine you can tell from my sign in (ninelvnfevr) that I'm pretty much a Porsche guy. I know that they don't do all that well except for the GT3 in SS. Maybe the new classification for the Boxster and Cayman may give them a chance in AS and BS respectfully. See you in April. If you ever want to car pool I could always meet you in Bonify, FL.

The boxters have done well in the past at the national level, but it is definitely not a popular car to campaign. We had a member by the name "Bill" coming to our events with a beautiful 944S2. He let me drive it once and I must say it was something special to remember. It was by far the most balanced car I have ever driven!
